Spirulina
Spirulina (Spirulina maxima) is a single-celled algae that has a spiral shape (hence its name), and is greenish blue due to the presence of chlorophyll that gives it the green color and phycocyanin, a pigment that gives it the bluish color  .
Spirulina is a superfood that offers more digestible proteins than those of beef and contains a surprising variety of nutritional elements: vitamins, macrominerals, minerals, essential fatty acids, proteins, nucleic acids (DNA and RNA), chlorophyll, and a  wide range of phytochemicals.  SPIRULINA, is an algae declared by UNESCO as the food of the millennium for its multiple vitamins, minerals and proteins, has many benefits for your health.  It improves the immune system due to its high content of antioxidants (beta-carotene, phycocyanin, vitamin E), polysaccharides (Ca-Spirulan) and the amino acids alanine and pantothenic acid.
It is effective against different kinds of viruses due to phycocyanin, sulfolipids and Spirulina Ca-Spirulan.
It reduces cholesterol levels due to the high content of gamma-linolenic acid and niacin. It helps prevent cancer and tumors due to its high content of antioxidants such as beta-carotene, phycocyanin, vitamin E and the enzyme superoxide dismutase  .
Protects against the harmful effects of radiation (radiotherapy, nuclear accidents) thanks to phycocyanin.  It reduces the toxic effect on the kidneys caused by heavy metals (lead, mercury) and drug consumption thanks to the high detoxifying power of chlorophyll.  Improves the intestinal flora of lactobacillus that stimulates digestion, food absorption and prevents intestinal infections thanks to chlorophyll, proline and vitamin B12.
It balances the blood glucose of those who suffer from diabetes thanks to complex carbohydrates and the combination of magnesium, chromium and vitamins B1, B12 and B3.
It helps considerably to lose weight with 9 grams of Spirulina daily.  Chlorophyll, polysaccharides, enzymes, phenylalanine and chromium help in this process.
Protects the cardio-vascular system through essential fatty acids, vitamins E and B6 and selenium.  It prevents and fights anemia due to its high iron content and its easy assimilation of both this and magnesium, folic acid and vitamins B6 and B12.
The ailments of arthritis and rheumatism are prevented thanks to antioxidants, gamma-linolenic acid, serine and pantothenic acid found in Spirulina.
Activates brain functions by its amino acids niacin, valine, isoleucine and leucine of vitamins B1, B3 and zinc.
Its carotenoids and riboflavin prevent and improve optical problems.
